Timmy’s Angels is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established in 2015 to honor the memory of Timmy Byrne, who tragically passed away at the tender age of 11. This heartfelt initiative was initiated by his devoted mother, Sue Byrne, and his oldest sister, Staci Sverker, as a tribute to Timmy’s legacy. Their goal was to encapsulate his spirit of kindness through acts of compassion and community support. Our mission centers on providing vital assistance to local communities facing challenges, particularly across various locations within the North Shore and greater Chicago area, Illinois.

Timmy Byrne, a vibrant young boy from Chicago, lost his life due to a devastating accident in which he was struck by a vehicle, resulting in critical injuries. Despite the brevity of his life, Timmy exemplified selflessness as an organ donor, consistently showing a profound desire to help others. This spirit of generosity has become the cornerstone of Timmy’s Angels, inspiring our organization to extend his legacy by reaching out and supporting as many individuals as we can in his honor.

We are proud to operate entirely with the commitment of our dedicated volunteers, whose generous investment of time and effort fuels our initiatives.
